Train With Me
I’m a passionate personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach based in Canberra with over 10 years of training experience. I started as a trainer when I was seventeen years old at a privately owned/operated personal training gym which had three locations within Canberra. I ended up managing one of the facilities within the organisation and within two years doubled the member base. I went on to become head trainer of another privately owned gym which had an emphasis on personal training, semiprivate group classes and rehabilitation. Over the years I have trained a vast variety of people with a wide range of goals and training experiences. Including but not limited to): - Middle aged people who are looking to lose weight, build strength and looking to improve their overall health.- Teenagers looking to learn correct lifting techniques and experience a training program for the first time.- Athletes looking to perform at their best for their given sport.- Experienced gym goers looking to build as much muscle and strength as possible.- Individuals in specific jobs (such as ACT Fire Brigade and AFP) reach key fitness goals to win positions. I have been a life-long fan of fitness and sport. I have competed in high level sport in both indoor and outdoor cricket, winning two national indoor titles for the ACT. My approach to training clients is to combine my years of experience (over 10,000 hours training clients on the gym floor) wth the most up to date information from industry experts. I believe my biggest attribute is my ability to relate and adapt to client’s needs, and with the application of such knowledge, produce real results for my clients. The next stage in my career is to take all the knowledge gained over the years and branch out on my own. My goal is to focus on what I am passionate about which is helping people reach their goals, regardless of what stage they are up to in their health and fitness journey so that they can become a better version of themselves. I do this though personalised one-on-one training specifically designed for them and their lives.
I have around a decade of in-person training experience through both gym and 1-1 personal training.
